Yesterday was a magical day! Cornflower blue flowers on a white background suited me well for the day. The shape of the dress, fit and flare, kept me cool during the long hours I waited for sailors to arrive. There was sailors dressed in their own fit and flare dresses and sailors that have written books. Everyone thought my Pop Up was a great idea. Even the men that dropped by thought my Pop Up was interesting. Thank you to those that made it to the event!
My first ebook is now out on Amazon! It is my guide to being stylish in the Lowcountry. Get your copy here.
It was just another lazy walk down to the Old Town Bluffton Waterfront. The warm air hypnotizing, I almost missed a glimpse of what appears to be a hot pink flamingo floating along the waves! All of a sudden, In that moment, I felt the joy of summer curl my lips in laughter. It was officially summer! It was picture perfect inspiration of what the Flamingo means to the Southern Coastal Lowcountry; Unexpected charm full of adventure! This looked like so much fun that I had to get a Flamingo Inflatable Raft too! Click the link to support the blog and you can get your Flamingo on too!
Living in the Lowcountry has its benefits, like shopping at funky Vintage shops or shops with a Vintage theme. For my outing yesterday I threw on a creamy lace dress that oozed with 1970’s charm. I got it for a great deal at a shop called Eggs n’ Tricities. A super fun shop, with rooms of Vintage inspired fashion, jewelry and Home accessories. It’s been around for more than 20 years in Downtown Bluffton, SC. This shop makes me smile. It’s location is the perfect spot to satisfy the feeling of being in a special place like the Lowcountry.
